I like Denzil.  Unfortunately if we pay him to score goals and he does not do that, should we keep him.  Don't give me all the old legend top scorer stuff, we are talking now, and players like that at any club will see the team dropping down and the manager sacked.  Mind you, would that be such a bad thing at the moment.  Keep him. :023:

I don't expect Wyness to be banging in the goals like he used to, but as I said earlier in the thread, he did a great job holding the ball in the last third and allowing us to get players forward.  Been a long time since I've seen us get so many bodies in the box other than on set pieces and the pay-off was 3 goals.

As things stand we have nobody else who has shown they are capable of filling that role, and that's where I see the current value in holding on to Wyness.  It's inevitable that he will get his chances at goal, and once he's shaken off the cobwebs of having been out for a while he'll make more from those chances than he perhaps did against Killie.

Unless we have someone better lined up then we can't afford to lose him.

This forum is ****.

Wyness is a legend and remains, with the possible exception of Niculae, the most skillful and intelligent player at ICT.

So gtf.
