There was the French goalkeeper Dominique Dropsy and his son Damien who both played for Bordeaux.

Amongst others are;

Paddy Gamble, another keeper, was in the Nottingham Forest squad around 2005

Germany had a player called Kuntz in the 90's

Algerian midfielder Ars Bandeet from 70'

Former England international Segar B*stard played for Upton Park and England at the end of

the 19th century. He then became a referee.

Paul Dickov and david Goodwillie will get a giggle in the playground :tongueincheek:

Forgot, Wolfgang Wolf who managed Wolfsburg

Spain's Lopez Ufarte always brought some schoolboy giggles.

And an aptly named former opponent of ICT (Scottish Cup 1998) was Dundee Utd's Jean Jacques Misse-Misse.

they may be school boy laughs but this thread has made me laugh out load on quite a few of the names so far

'Willie Long has been refereeing for the past 28 years. Thirteen of which were spent on the National League Panel and for five years Willie was on the FIFA Assistant Referees Panel, 1995 - 2000. Currently, Willie is Vice-Chairman and PRO of the Irish Soccer Referees Society (Cork Branch), a position which he has held for the past two seasons and was Chairman of the Branch for a number of seasons before that and is still actively involved in refereeing. This season (2002 / 2003) Willie is in his 29th season as a referee and will be refereeing in the Munster Senior League. '

Some name for a dance hall!

Yes...you're right...funny though eh?

Try these....

Dominic Blizzard (thought this was appropriate)...was at Watford. Think he headed for Stockport, not sure.

Uwe Fuchs...once at Middleborough.

Waldo Ponce....Chilean defender played in 2010 World Cup.

If Mantis was here he'd be telling us his joke about the German international, Helmut Schoen.

Back in the 70s he faced great Scottish players like Hugh Jarse aka John Greig.
