Well done Proc

Well done David Proctor coming back after a nasty head knock at Parkhead to put on a no nonsense display against the Buddies. He has taken some stick this season but has stuck with it and showed tremendous versatility on Saturday, pairing up with Rossco. He did very well after a quiet start and by the end of the game our whole defence was well on top of the situation with Proc very much prominent. He also found time to set up one or two attacks with good distribution from the back and broke up the darting runs of Hasselbaink effectively. Steven Thompson was a handful with his large frame but we eventually overcame that so well he was replaced. Near the end when Paisley were pushing to salvage the game he stood firm and that's all we can ask from him.

So, after a tough few weeks, well done Proc.

Happy someone is giving procs some praise. Never saw him against the celts but he was solid at the back on Saturday. He always gives it his all just gutted that he gets injured a bit however this could be his season!

He has also played over 150 games for ict. His 150th game was againtst utd a few weeks back.

Perhaps the fact that he has appeared over 150 times is testament to both his ability and attitude. If he hadn't had that brief spell at Tannadice, Proc would be encroaching testimonial match (or dinner?) territory.

In many ways he reminds me of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer - seldom used but always there in the background and dependable to come in and put in a shift. Even during his second stint at the club, lots of other players have come and gone - players who simply weren't up to SPL standard...

Dean McDonald, Gil Blumenshtein, Phil McGuire and Dougie Imrie spring to mind...

Keep up the good work Proc and stay positive - let's get top six this year.

And the weird thing is, I don't think he's ever played in his most natural defensive midfield position. He looked half-decent when first at CD but didn't have the strength to pull it off. Munro wasn't the big aggressive character he needed, so faded very badly. Luckily, Tokely seems to have grown into a Dods. Maybe the big battering ram, with a player that can see the action could work wonders. A little similar to McLeish and Miller (although not as world class). Let's give him a run there.

AAYS A LOT FOR PROCTOR THAT HE HAS KEPT GRITTING IT OUT IN the face of unmitigated negative criticism.

In the past he had some very good games for ICT and Terry must find his best position for him to shine. Glad that he had a stuffy and positive game.

Deserves it.

Tokely does seem to be doing the business in the highlights. Some of his last ditch efforts have been very impressive.

Dods? Yes he was something else but Tokely s such a great servant of ICT that I do hope his ultimate testimonial will reflect his dedication and efforts , and loyalty, in spades.

What a servant!
