Just wondering if anyone else ever named their pets after any football teams/players? My border collie dog is called Caley.

My sister in law called their (now deceased) dog Caley too. Never had much time for pets myself.

I stayed a B&B in Carlisle a few years ago and the owners had two West Highland pooches, one was called Caley and the other was called Thistle. They were not ICT fans but liked the name of the team!

If you had a big Alsatian dog and supported Wolverhampton Wanderers, there's only one name you could call it...

I have one cockatiel called Juanjo, and another called Robbo.

Incidentally, Robbo ran off with Juanjo's bird and made her pregnant.............oooft

My cousin called his daughter Kallie.  The thing is, he's not even an ICT fan, he's a blue nose!! He named her that because she was born shortly after the game where we prevented Celtic wining the league title.

Many years ago I had a canary called Norwich.

One day the neighbour's cat got in and managed to claw it through the bars of the cage, unfortunately fatally.

As I literally booted the cat out of the house, I named it after Ross County, missing out the Ross, the "o" and the "y".

My golden lab totally takes after his namesake. He's big and strong, good on his feet, stubborn at times and a bit think at other times. My wife called him...............

I had a thread on her about 7 yrs ago getting opinions on name of our spaniel pup. We decided on rossco. Incredibly it was crazy and ended up back at the estate in aboyne where we got him. He would run up walls attack people etc. we ended up with another spaniel which we called charley after cc spelt slightly different as our charley is a bitch
