If the club really wanted, which i cant imagine they would as it is hassle they obviously wouldnt want, but im sure they could have errea for some sort of breach of contract, whichever road they wanted to go down. Most likely never getting the stuff on time.

What about this one?

I could kind of imagine the ICT stuff on that but with a more normal red and blue.

am i the only one who gets fed up with ICT changing the design of the kit every 2 years? i wish they would stick tio the red n blue stripes as thats what most people identify ICT when it comes to their club colours.

On this one I am going to give the club a big :021: . They are contractually obligated to change strips every so often to generate revenue for themselves and the kit supplier, but in ICT's case, they do not gouge the supporters in the way that some other clubs do.

Many clubs change their kit every year and sometimes that can mean 1st, 2nd and even 3rd strips changing at the same time generating lots of expense for supporters (and revenue for the clubs).

ICT only change the design of one strip every two years and stagger it so there is 1 new kit a year - home kit one year, away kit the next. In fact, on more than one occasion, the away kits from previous seasons have also doubled up as a 3rd kit so you get more than two years out of it (like the black kit for us this year) !

Obviously there will be a change to both kits for us next season as the sponsor will change, but the design of the away kit will most likely be exactly the same with that one exception .... I even remember one season (think it was 98/99) where ICT issued iron-on sponsor logos to cover the previous sponsor logo as the kit hadnt changed so fair play to the club, and praise where it is due on this one.

Having said that, I do think we should keep our identity as red/blue stripes of some description ... the style can still change within a vertically striped template by giving more prominence to the red or the blue in different seasons but keep the stripes, it is our identity now and clearly the most favoured design of most supporters.

yes, i have no problem with the club changing the kit but how about keeping it as stripes. maybe every other year changing the likes of how many stripes or how thick the stripes are. Not going from stripes to block design, then back to stripes then to a top that looks as if its had a can of red paint thrown across neck of the top.

Grimsby-Town-10-11-errea-kit-vote.jpg

I see Grimsby are allowing their fans to vote for their next seasons strip again.. Wish ICT would do something like that. Instead of just forgetting about running a competition... But that's beside the point, I just liked these striped Errea designs which as far as I can see don't appear on Errea's site, I wouldn't be adverse to either of these

It is about time we did stick with a basic idea of strip. Stripes. Blue and Red with black n White trim.

Fair enough change the design a little. Move bits about and stuff. But have a core base of the stripes.

Stripes just make me look fat!!!

Always thought we were missing a trick by not offering "retro" shirts based on the old Thistle and Caledonian designs. I know some people think it digs up old feelings and all that, but surely enough water has passed under the bridge and we should be doing more to recognise our roots and keep the newer generations in touch with where the club came from.

With you on that one CD. How about we start with a nice red and black striped one?

That's the Genoa strip isn't it??

Have the colours in quarters instead of in halves as above and you have the old Crown School strip. That would be just champion for the supporters from up the hill!

Guest Mahonio

I actually like that strip Harry :D :D

Would you make any slight changes to it though because i can't think of any, by the way that is a question, not criticism as i don't do criticism ok?

Out of that strip and Bridge-enders i would buy both :P

Not really mate, I think it looks really nice with long sleaves as well as having a collar.. (very few strips seem to have collars now-a-days).. unfortunately, because it's reebok our strip wont look anything like it.. or if it does it will be a cheap imitation.

Our's will probably look more like IHE's suggestion :P
