Will the press conference be streamed live, or made available to watch shortly after?

Dont think so.

So can we operate as normal from today on, ie sign new players etc, or do we wait until the CVA is shut in July?

Reading the CVA document it said that the funding provided by AS would not only pay the preferential and secondary preferential creditors as well as unsecured creditors,

Are you able/allowed to say what percentage of the money owed to them the unsecured creditors are getting?

I know the number, it's in the document that was presented to shareholders but not sure if that is confidential until the dust has settled or not so not going to post it just now.

Great article in the P&J from Paul Chalk noting that Alan Savage credited Tommy Cumming with part of his inspiration to save the club!!!

A few key quotes from that article:

“It is a big job and a big responsibility and I’m really looking forward to it. To bring the club control, governance, order and to let the playing side of things, under (interim chief executive) Charlie Christie, (former vice chairman) Graeme Bennett and Scott Kellacher succeed – and try to get us into the Championship through next season, using the academy players, local Highland League players, some other Scottish players and maybe a couple of marquee players.

“The club will be a football club, no distraction, completely focused.”

“I think there was a moment of epiphany when I came in and first got involved with some of the detail of what was going on. I spoke to Dale Stephen, the groundsman, and he remind me that Tommy Cumming, the past groundsman whose ashes are on the pitch, had told Dale that ‘Alan Savage would never let the club go (under)’. That was a big responsibility. Tommy was a great character and it struck me the club means a lot to a lot of people. I felt duty-bound to make sure the club continued. So everyone can thank Tommy Cumming.”

“I’m looking forward to running the football club for the benefit of all the people who work here, the players, and the local community and stakeholders.”

according to the administrator we can do that once the CVA is filed which will be today or tomorrow I assume.

That quote from Alan Savage also reminded me of another part of the CVA document. There is an entry in there to say that someone who recently passed left the club £50,000 in their will. Not sure who it is, but the club got £10K so far with a further £40K to come from the estate so thank you to whoever that was.

Great news. Will be raising a celebratory  glass (or two) tonight.

Worth listening to that audio. Lots of nice little snippets in there from improving the supporter experience, to adding a stage behind the North Stand, to covering the singing section, a testimonial for Aaron Doran and even practical things like replacing power hungry floodlights with LEDs and such like. Feeling pretty positive right now that little tweaks here and there will optimise our outgoings while trying to maximise sponsorship and income.

With us coming out of administration and with 100% of shares owned by Alan Savage I can't wait for my opportunity to buy one in the future.

It would be the final step to reconnect with the club I almost lost.

Great to hear how things have gone with the process and to hear Alan speak about moving the club forward is so different to a year ago.  A year ago I refused to buy my season ticket along with many others until a certain person left the club but I am looking forward to renewing this year!

I am sure that Tommy, wherever he may be, is looking on with relief and great satisfaction, now in the knowledge that football will continue to be played on (what several of Caley Thistle’s foreign players must have thought was the standard English expression for a playing surface)… “ma f***en pitch”.

Tommy absolutely loathed Gardiner and I am told that it had been his fervent desire to live long enough to see Gardiner leave the building. Unfortunately Tommy didn’t quite make that but - again wherever he is - I am sure that he will now be just as fulfilled in seeing that wish also granted…. commendably abruptly by Alan Savage!

Did Savage say that a stadium naming rights deal has been agreed?

Edit - just found it, 3 year deal with Sarens PSG.

Whilst browsing through some of the events since the trauma of relegation, I came across this unfortunate faux pas published by HN Media on 26th July of last year. At the time, I was thoroughly alarmed to see a dire situation made worse by Makwana being mistakenly referred to as “the owner” when it was clear to just about everybody else apart from the Board - doubtless egged on by Makwana’s now “business associate”😱 SG - that KM was a totally delusional chancer.

I don’t know how close the club actually came to being taken over by Ketan Makwana, and hence the liquidator, but looking back across the last year or so, this was without doubt Inverness Caledonian Thistle’s darkest hour.

The irony of that headline is painful, and on the day the club’s salvation has been confirmed, I just wanted to look back on the absolute low point and give thanks for what has since transpired.

Did Alan Savage mention if any of the previous interested parties from interested in investing during the bidding process had got back to him offering to help him out with investment?  I seem to recall from one of the previous press conferences that interested investors were willing to contact Alan himself and offer to help him with investment etc.

Or am I misunderstood, which is highly possible 😁😁.

Anyway, I am just ecstatic we finally have our club back and also look forward with positivity to what the future holds for us under the stewardship of Alan Savage and Charlie Christie (who I'd like to see kept on under this new regime) 🔵🔴.

Good news whether its something fans like or not. I'm sure it was mooted before that Orion would be the investing party, therefore can only assume that Sarens are offering decent cash and we will see Orion sponsorship elsewhere around the club.

Also wouldn't be shocked to see at times some Sarens equipment being stored in an area of the car park.

The proof is in the pudding, but some welcome things being done/talked about and the club seems to have a bit of (positive) direction again...bring on the new season.

Tommy always was a good judge of character 🙂 Happy that he appears to have been right about AS as well.

The entire press conference is linked on this thread both in audio and video. You will note there is no mention of this anywhere.  Have a feeling that AS is more likely to announce this as and when anything is a done deal rather than before the ink is dry on any contract.

Charlie is in with the bricks. He is going nowhere. Him, Graeme Bennett, and Kells are the preferred dream team in terms of creating a triumvirate spanning the team, board, and back office. When those three areas are aligned, we have traditionally done well and every one of them is motivated to do so and for once, the backroom leaders understand things given that both played for the club too. AS will oversee it as he noted and others will be brought on. It all sounds pretty positive, especially considering where we could have been ... but as CaleyD notes, the proof is in the pudding.

Pity. I liked the sound of "The Savage Caledonian Stadium"

I see "Phygital" hasn't been recognised by the Oxford Dictionary yet, although Wikipedia gives it a nod!

There’s gonna be people thinking we have some sort of tie-in with PSG!

Well if my initials were SG I would get a photograph of me in front of the 'SG Stadium' and update my social media profile!!!
