Thought there would have been some mention here about the accident Blackie was involved in the other day. He skidded on ice on his way back up the road from visiting family in Edinburgh and wrote of his car.

Glad he appears ok and hope he's able to play sunday.

Didnt read this and we actually had a Sun in the office today.

Delighted the wee mans fine.  Was he in the car on his own do you know?

Scary stuff, I was really worried about openning this topic.

yes he was by himslef cant find anythin about it on the net tho :024:

On a serious note( for a change) it's worth a few quid to go through the skid car training through in Elgin,my Brother in law's the instructor,  and it lets you find out what happens in a controlled environment

Surprised that the story seems exclusive to the sun but a good article where he also talks about his fight to overcome his indicipline on the pitch. Might try and scan it later

It'd take more than a wee skid to knock the big man down.

Looking forward to him getting his well deserved revenge on Boyd, still can't get it out of my mind how awful that tackle was.

Good to hear he's ok mind :022:

Didn't Juanjo once overturn his car going down the A9?

Wrote off the vehicle and never played for us again!  :014:

This may just have reached the sun, but it isn't new news. Happened a wee while ago, he's already played since. Car didn't come out of it well, but he seems okay.

I saw him yesterday and he looked fine to me.

Poor Iain - glad to hear he seems to be OK, scary stuff indeed for one of our favourite and most entertaining players.

Maybe there's a wee lesson to be learned here guys - never take a lift from an ict player !!

No i hadn't heard but have since spoken to my pals from east lothian and he is okay, a bit battered and bruised, stiff, but still determined to turn out for us, nice to hear and read everyones concerns for the wee man, oops with the exception of sophie

whatever sophie, they say sarcasm is the highest form of wit and wit is the lowest form of intelligence, but seeing as i am bitting each time you write, i will now refrain from answering your petty comments, your kind i can do without.

Oh I?m sorry, I didn?t mean to elicit an irascible response from you.

I appreciate your waspishness though, the same trait that Blackie displays on the pitch.
