Brora Game

just found this on the Brora website:

Brora went down to a very strong Caley Thistle side in a closed door match at the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium. Brora more than held their own in the 1st half with a couple of efforts that tested Esson in the Caley goal. The home side took the lead in the 30th minute from a free kick, that was how it stayed until half time. The 2nd half brought about a number of changes from Brora as Andy Macleod gave all the players a run out ahead of Wednesday's North Cup match against Golspie. The home side started to take a grip on the game and they ran in a further 4 goals.

Brora now turn their attention to Wednesday's match v Golspie in the 1st round of the North of Scotland Cup.

1. Games with low gate receipts lose money, as you still have to pay for stewarding, police, cleaning, match officials etc.

2. St Mirren don't get to see how we line up and play, with what would probably be as close to our starting line up for Paisley as injuries would allow.

What he said....plus there's a licensing side to it as well I believe. Not sure of the nature of that, but basically if it's a closed doors bounce game then they don't need to tick so many boxes to get approval for the match to go ahead.
