The 4th round (the last 32) and is where we enter the competition and the draw is on Tuesday at 12 noon. Held in Aberdeen, their favourite son, Alex Ferguson will be helping to draw the ties.

Teams in the hat (with league tier)

Aberdeen  (1)

Albion Rovers  (4)

Alloa Athletic  (2)

Annan Athletic or Stenhousemuir  (Replay)

Auchinleck Talbot or Stranraer  (Replay)

Ayr United  (3)

Berwick Rangers or Culter  (Replay)

Brechin City  (3)

Celtic  (1)

Clyde  (4)

Dumbarton  (2)

Dundee  (2)

Dundee United  (1)

Dunfermline Athletic  (3)

Falkirk  (2)

Forfar Athletic  (3)

Fraserburgh  (-)

Hearts  (1)

Hibernian  (1)

Inverness Caley Thistle  (1)

Kilmarnock  (1)

Livingston  (2)

Morton  (2)

Motherwell  (1)

Partick Thistle  (1)

Queen of the South  (2)

Raith Rovers  (2)

Rangers  (3)

Ross County  (1)

St. Johnstone  (1)

St. Mirren  (1)

Stirling Albion (4)

I'd love to see us paired with Fraserburgh. Away(!), as I've never been to The Broch, but any of the 3 clubs from the bottom tier (Albion Rovers, Stirling Albion or Clyde) would be good.

Also, being drawn with any of the teams involved in the replays wouldn't be a bad outcome. Don't want a game with any of our Premiership league rivals at this stage!

I've read in a previous thread that Dumbarton (pictured above) is the only away ground you've not been to, IHE! Hope it comes out the hat for you! Mind you, it's a long-shot at this stage of the draw! 61/1 odds against!

Looks a nice wee ground next to the 'rock'. I assume that picture wasn't taken at 3pm on a home match day!

We've not played at Annan mate, we've played at Gretna's old ground in the Challenge Cup but never visited Galabank

Has to be Hibs now- home or away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yup. I agree.

Four all Premiership ties. Very average draw for us, not easy and not overly exciting. May as well put my Dougie Imrie anytime goalscorer bet on now...

We'll certainly be happier about it than Morton.

But they did win at Parkhead recently....

Hopefully that was their giant killing done for a season

So long as we score 2 to cancel out Dougie Imrie's obligatory wonder-goal, I'll be happy. Was the last time we played them in the cup? I seem to recall Adam Rooney missing an absolute sitter for his hattrick.

Good question (although there really shouldn't be any problem with having gatherings of about 2,500 people 12 miles apart).

County-Hibs is moderately attractive to the TV companies but Hearts-Celtic and Falkirk-Rangers are the obvious prime candidates for telly.
