That's what I first thought...but I've been to Paris and I didn't recognise anything on the video.....so then I thought Milan ?????

When were you there, that footage was filmed in 1978 apparently so Paris may have changed slightly in the last 29 years.

It was a single take, 10 minute film that basically involved fixing a camera to the front of a car (thought to be a Mercedes) driving pretty fast through Paris at 5.30am. The identity of the driver was kept secret due to the numerous traffic offences that took place.

I was there about 6 years ago so probably had changed a bit since '78.

Did wonder about the traffic offences. Thought it might have been filmed from a police car but then there's no flashing lights to be seen !
