Good Luck To Q.O.S

Good luck to Queen of the South tonight in their first foray into European football. Tonight's match at New Broomfield appears to be on following a pitch inspection.

I've lonng had a bit of a soft spot for the Doonhamers and it would be great to see them make progress against one of our pre season opponents.

For locals, the game is on live on BBC2. This is the stadium where ICT recorded their first victory on foreign soil, a 1-0 win against Nordsjaelland in preseason a couple of years ago. Tidy 10,000 all seater stadium with beer holders on every seat, yummy yummy.

For those in the uk it can be viewed here : http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/7582359.stm

BBC 2 Scotland are actually showing it live, Scotty.

QoS have been fantastic in the 2nd half but just lost a really unlucky goal on the counter-attack. Hope they can score and take it to ET.

Also brings home the importance of a good cup run - on this evidence, and with a bit of luck in the qualifying draw, it wouldn't be beyond a club like ICT to make the group stages.

A bit like watching Scotland really. It was exciting seeing Queens going for it but somehow you knew it was going to go pear-shaped before the end.

Mrs Mantis had her head in a newspaper, not really watching the game, but when the equaliser went in she just casually remarked 'that'll be that then' and went back to her paper. We can learn so much from people like her :rotflmao:
