Decent Cheap players:

Kirk Broadfoot - St Mirren. Great CB

Craig Bryson - Clyde. Develops into a h3ll of a AMC

Rory Macallister - ICT. Finishing was 17 when i signed him.

Charlie Adam - Rangers, Becomes great player

Nik Besagno - America, Amazing stats, can obtain him for low price or on free.

Charlie Mulgrew - Celtic, great player can play both LB nd CB

Willie Mclaren - Airdrie, Good left sided attcking player.

Alister Brown - Hibs, decent young keeper.

I have just started a new game with Inverness CT and the squad depth is unbelivable!! I made 11 changes for a cis cup game and the ones that came in did very well. I am trying to buy Bryson, Brighton and Higgins from Clyde. All bright young prospects. Anyone else anyone can think of?

Weegie SI Update

New update for Footie manager 06 with all the summer transfers completed.... McSwegan isn't at ICT though :015:

1) download win rar first from download.com etc.

2) download the db file from the link above

3) extract the files through win rar to C:Program FilesSports InteractiveFootball Manager 2006datadb make sure you delete the db files that were there previously.  (I copied them into a seperate file just incase anything went wrong)

4) Start a new game and the teams are updated

Just wondering what set up you use for FM 2006, i.e Database size, Number and Location of Leagues.

I usually use a Huge Database size, all leagues selected in the country I'm playing (on full) plus two other nations leagues (on normal), usually England + 1 other at random.

depends on what size of PC you have

I usually stick in all the scandinavian teams, Belgium, Ukraine, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, England, Scotland, Holland, Argentina & Brazil

all full leagues

500mb ram, 2.8Ghz processor.  Slower than a badger with no hind legs!! I'm due a new PC before the end of the year though

Play about with some of the settings - turn off background matches, flashing text, background changes and a heap of other crap that I think you can fiddle about with to make it run faster.
