Former ICT defender Richard Hastings NOT in the Canada squad to face Peru tomorrow and Honduras on Tuesday.

Hastings lost out on a place as manager Stephen Hart elected to call in youngsters Nana Attakora (21)[Toronto FC/MLS] and Adam Straith (19)[Energie Cottbus/Germany]. Toronto FC have 3 players in the squad for this weekend's games and it seems Hastings will be pushed even further down the pecking order as the manager indicated his other choice to call up (Adrian Cann from Toronto FC) was left out as MLS doesnt cancel games for International weekends and he felt it unfair to take 4 players straight out of the TFC starting lineup for a friendly.

Rooney comes on for Stokes in 77 minutes of the Irish 1-0 defeat at the hands of Switzerland.
