See if this helps!

Can't find a link to the Hayes goal, but just watch the Robben one again and imagine the players wearing different coloured strips, in front of 80,000 stunned fans at the new Easter Road.

Hayes's one is better I reckon. He picks up the ball deeper and had a lot more opposition players around him.

Yeah seeing them together Hayes had more work to do and players to get past. Interestingly England's defence was poorer than that of Hibs.

Hayes for sure !!! but yes, very similar, and Robben will get far more plaudits for his one.

Hayes by a country mile.

England players may be talented, but positioning and reflexive actions were pedantic (slow) and pathetic.

However, great goal by Robbens--energetic and very determined approach and showed great evasive , opportunistic skills.

Wheeee.

It took me a while but I eventually spotted the difference................about £25 million.

the lone striker makes the exact same run the finish is exactly the same both players are short and one footed theres only one difference the amount of defenders
