Too disappointed to even contemplate this yet. The position we are in should be attractive to somebody, but I have no idea who that should be. Hope we stick it up Hibs on Saturday!

Kenny Shiels or Ian Murray would do nicely thanks for the new manager for them- now close this thread!

After 20 seconds of thought, Craig Levein for me

As long as it's not Kenny Shiels...

Same, but other way round for me.

Hope the board sticks to its guns and we don't have a vacancy until at least the end of the season though

If we could afford any of them id take Alex McLeish, John Collins or Owen Coyle at first guess.

Owen Coyle is in charge of Wigan and in Europe.

Time to start thinking about a replacement.

Possible names who come to mind or who will probably be linked:

Kenny Shiels

Craig Levien (Maybe couldn't affor or want him anyway)

Paul Sheerin

Paul Hartely

Barry Wilson

No no no no no if he does go I dunno were well go from there..... But I have no clue who the next manager would be. Why would he leave us in the position were in anyway? To join Hibs?! Tell me this is a joke....

Assuming TB & MM go then I'd guess 10CC will be in charge on Sat afternoon at Easter Rd? Moving forwards we would need a dynamic young manager but if CC is willing to take the helm for a while then I dont see why we would need to rush any decision.

Not convinced Kenny Shiels will want to travel the A9 that much.

Hartley isnt a bad shout. Hes made a good climb with Alloa on a shoestring budget.

I know he wouldnt be a popular choice but would Jimmy Calderwood be such a bad suggestion? He led Dunfermline to Europe and a final and Aberdeen had a good European run with him as well whilst also enjoying 4 consecutive top 6 finishes.

Although i think Hartley would be ok, getting Alloa to where they were before isn't that great an achievement.  Jimmy Calderwood is a good manager that gets slated too much.  Another i would consider.

I know many of you won't have followed the leagues across the pond, but I'd highly recommend Jason Kreis.  His team is still in the playoffs over here, but he would be worth sniffing around IMO.
