Someone on twitter saying we've made an enquiry for Rory McAllister.

Even if it's true that we have enquired, I very much doubt that he'd want to re-join us, for several reasons - not least, he currently manages to combine playing football and working as a plumber, and it would be a wrench to give that up.....

That "someone" is the twitter account known as Mr Fly On The Wall. It is an account which claims it knows things about Highland teams. Most o the time it is wrong. The account tweeted about it last night.

If Rory could act as a dynamic back-flow-protector then he might be worth a shout but, big as he was , he never really fitted into the ICT mould which requires not only fitness and skill but NOT having a

propensity for making mistakes and not for flattering to deceive in front of goal.

Waste of time, effort and money if we pursue anyone who only wants to play part-time. Don't forget Rory tried this before and didn't have the attitude to take the opportunity when it was given.

I heard a few years ago that his heart wasn't in football.

Why play with poo sticks in a burn when you can play with real stuff in a drain.

He was garbage for us.  He played fifty odd games and had one, maybe two, acceptable performances.

Did we not learn a lesson with barrowman. Scoring goals in the lower leagues is evidently a peice of cake compared to being able to do it in SPL!

Anyway. He's now signed a two year contract extension at Peterhead.
