Need to start passing better, not a day for route one. Tell Dick to put his cap on, remember the linesman last week

I was pleased early on that Ridgers was passing or throwing it out.  But after the goal, he reverted to route one.

Presumably with the wind behind him now, he'll be trying to score.

Rugby coming to a close finish  :scotland:

Yes! Power back on in time to see Allardice’s great shot go in!

Now we need to see this out.

Not being there, quite likely the wind is having a big impact and favouring the team playing towards the home end.

If so, we should make allowances for the first half performance.

Full time: 3-1.

A decent outcome given the windy conditions. Our best result against them since they got promoted in 2019.

3 goals in 3 games for Toddy too.

Just read Robbo’s comment that the game should not have been played given the 50mph winds and how it disrupted us in the first half, with Dick Campbell saying the wind affected their second half performance.

As others have said, the result and the second half give us scope for optimism.

All 4 goals in the game being at that end could also suggest that.

I think it may have had an effect on the stream as well, could see some tearing of the picture at times when there was the sound of a wind gust,. I reckon the cameras got out of alignment, that then caused problems tracking the ball as it seemed to get lost when it moved from one camera to another. Could be that when it moved from one zone to the other it wasn't at the point of the picture expected and so the system started searching again, moving back to the middle of the pitch ?

Well done to another makeshift ICT side. At half time I’d have bitten your hand off if you’d offered me a draw.

Seems to be taking us a while to find our feet in games this season - why so many long balls in that wind in the first half? - but a much improved second half performance. Getting the early second half goal was probably crucial, as Arbroath sat in really well in the first half once they had scored, but we used the ball far better after that. Kennedy looks like he'll create a lot for us, Todorov misses chances but gets into the right positions and is starting to put a run together, and Allardice is looking like a great signing already. With so many players still to come back, lots of reasons for optimism, especially if we can start impose ourselves on games a bit earlier.

With the risk of the season being abandoned at any time, it’s good to have moved a few points clear from bottom spot. Can’t trust the football authorities to act fairly and reasonably if that happens, and you certainly can’t trust other clubs.

My summary.          :ictscarf:         Well done ICT

Conditions looked diabolical so full marks to both teams for persevering and making a game of it.

Coverage was abysmal by SPFL and spoiled things for all viewers.

Result was perfect and timely, gets us back in the running.

The goals, of what we saw or nearly saw were excellent.

Camera work was dreadful but at least we didn't have to listen to an even more dreadful commentary. Well done the stadium announcer for giving us the scorers and substitutions. Surely things can only improve!!!

It literally was a game of two halves. The wind played a major factor for us in the first half then for Arbroath in the second. Hard to judge but overall especially after going one going down to come back in the second half and score three goals showed what we haven't seen for a while in a Caley team a determination to win.

Just watched the goals. Great finish from Allardice but the goal we conceded was shocking defending. Duffy looked really slow getting back then the least said about McKays attempt at a tackle the better. He would of been better fouling the guy and getting a yellow than pulling out of the tackle. Then I'm not sure what Deas was doing. If he stayed on his feet surely he would of cleared the ball. Not sure why he slides in and slides past the ball.
