Slightly off topic but is it true that Billy McKay is the new coach of the Under 18's. Another cost cutting exercise to give him two wages to be closer to his previous one

I’d heard that too, with Ryan Esson not offered a new contract.

Don't think there's anyone here who wants to see the team do badly.

Hard to tell these days.

FT 3-0. Not sure any of us expected a comfortable win like that, but well done ICT, after last season’s misery it’s good to get a home win and a few goals too.

Looking ahead to the league campaign, I see Annan won 3-0 at Arbroath. It will be interesting to see how we do against Arbroath on Tuesday.

Good "team" performance today with everyone playing their part. 3 good goals and it should have been more bar the woodwork and a couple of poor passes from Billy in the second half.

Encouraging performance played at pace at times and no little skill by the team.Shame so many fans have spat their dummy out and won't go to watch and support the team.

So many posters on here saying they won't buy tickets, attend games while the board are still in place, Fergusons comments blah blah blah. Would you rather the club went bust. I think the fans have probably achieved as much as they can, scrapping Kelty move, chairman and CEO resigning so now is the time to get behind the team and give them your support by attending games.

Fully expect a big pile on now from the usual suspects telling me I'm talking nonsense but don't worry,  I  won't be reading or responding to any replies and comments.

All I'll say is be careful what you wish for.

Positive performance based on some very good young players and some very calm experienced players. However, if players like Danny get injured we will struggle to say the least. However, no real complaints about today with DF using a new word and quite frequently - forward, forward.

Given the fact Highland Council is currently rated the worst in Scotland for certain services, we can but hope that the planning appeal is successful. Part of the appeal states 'It should be noted that the Committee Report erroneously stated that the proposal comprised 54 storage units. The appellant seeks to ensure the Reporter is fully aware that the proposal comprises 13 only storage units.'

On the assumption also that 'new owners' may be in waiting, there is the possibility of a little bit of optimism.

The game hasn’t even started that’s the warm up. Why not show a photo taken at 3pm.

Was impressed with the first half. Pick outs bray and strachan who put in a few dangerous balls from the left. Being super critical I thought we passed the ball a bit too much, making 3 passes to get the ball to a player when 1 would have sufficed.

3 good goals and a turn and shot in the box that came off the post high up. Rose were a very poor side.

2nd half we did absolutely nothing, reminiscent of last season when leading after half time we sat back and let them dictate the play. We made subs and a couple who came on looked like they were still in primary school, buts that’s me getting old.

Billy was poor today not sure if it is early season or he is done.

best part of the day was watching a game without hearing the vile bile shouted at the board, Gardiner.
You could have heard a rustle of the werthers original paper being unwrapped.

Well done boys. Good to get a win and a few goals. Nice to be back in the stadium. I see the big demonstration went well. 🤡

Great to get a win. Hopefully give some confidence to the younger players.

Wasn't aware there was a big (or any) demonstration planned.

Camera not the best, not a demo, just a refusal to pay gardiners wages me thinks. next to the sign post on the bridge. 20240720_155930.thumb.jpg.fc2a2a85500b4725c8a2d78d42cbc572.jpg

Business as usual in the main stand then.
