I've seen a couple of posts saying we should go for X or Y as manager until the end of the season but that's not how administration works.  Essentially the administrator will look to cut as many costs as possible to leave the minimum resource to operate as a viable business until such time as admin is exited (i.e  a sale).  The administrators will still want a semi competitive team so some of the player exits might seem surprising when they come out tomorrow.  The only way we could sign players while in admin is if we were left with less than 11 players. You would get special dispensation to sign players on week to week or trialist terms.

Welcome aboard Scott

Given some of the criticism you've dished out to those who were down on Ferguson this post just makes you look like a bit of a dick.

let's keep the personal jabs out of this thread please. it's going to get pretty emotional, and tempers may flare as things unfold but please debate the topic NOT the poster.  We will apply topic bans if people keep taking it off the rails to drop in petty personal jibes.

Just a wee joke, I don’t know much about Scott to be honest but this moment always springs to mind.

I wish him well and will back him just like any other manager 😉

I think Scot Gardiner was a very easy individual to take an instant dislike to. He simply exuded an unpleasant aura which his intermittent attempts at charm utterly failed to conceal.

The PandJ’s public exposure of that was a masterpiece.

All this after the fact criticism of Gardiner rings hollow when the vast majority of the support backed him virtually to the end.

He thought he could dupe the glaikit Highlanders and to a large extent he succeeded.

Did they? I certainly didn't and don't know many that did?

My group of friends have been unhappy with his leadership for years now

Correction done dougie.

We all knew about the 15 point deduction, but what I didn’t know until today is that it seems we will also start next season with a 5 point deduction.

It's a bummer... but only 5 points, I take that as motivation for a faster start than usual!

What would you expect really, they love to stick the knife in even deeper. It has always felt that where ICT are concerned they really can't stand it if we try to rise above our lowly, wee highland club, station.

It's been the rule for a few years now.

Nothing to do with who we are.

Really good to hear non-playing staff are being retained.

I would be interested to understand who the players that have been made redundant are

Place your bets. Who will be on the big earners naughty step?

Gilmour

Devine

Savage

What about W Duffy or Davidson?

We certainly need two 'experienced' defenders IMV   [not least as if needs be one could go up front if we are chasing a game]

So maybe Brooks, Gilmour, Davidson, Ferguson

Quite, and with much greater certainty. Realistically, nobody in their right mind would take over the club with unknown liabilities and mysterious land deals.
