But the BBC were already at Ibrox, all that was needed was a couple of SFL representatives to turn up and pull out their colourful balls, so to speak.

Failing that, the BBC presenter could have said "And now over to Celtic Park, for the 4th round draw....."

I wouldnt be surprised if SFL reps were there watching the match too and it would only have taken a couple of minutes for them to display all their balls to the cameras

I had hoped to make the game but finished work too late and was staying too far away, so am looking forward to the next game and the players passed the big balls challenge in the shootout, so I hope they take the big balls belief into the next match in front of goal and Forans attempt was only 2" away from scoring.

A wins a win so well done for getting through to the next round.

I was there

Plus Points -

  • Esson saves the day again.
  • Foran played well.
  • Roberts looks promising.
  • Warren solid once more.

Negative Points -

  • Poor game - poor conditions - poor performance.
  • Raven doesn't do it for me I'm afraid.
  • Andrew Shinnie's gone back to the player he was when he first arrived.
  • Doran is off form.

One paper had Doran M.O.M. ! Agree about A Shinnie, he didnt look interested at Hibs, Raven will no doubt be played till we have king/Hogg back in the middle or unless he gives the young guy Cooper a run.

They've just announced that they will be keeping their balls under wraps until Thursday 4th October at 1.30pm.

Ties to be played 30/31 October.

...at Dumbarton! Clearly the obvious venue.

Well after eventually deciding that they should hold a 4th round draw, and then deciding upon a date and venue, the SFL have now decided NOT to hold it at Dumbarton after all, and it will be at Hampden. This is the sort of decisive leadership Scottish football needs.
