Maybe the future for Scottish international football is not so bleak after all.

Scottish younger teams have always done ok. It's the next step up to senior level that has been the problem. Not fulfilling potential and all that.

Hopefully this time it will be different. More of them getting a chance at their respective clubs and making the grade.
