I wasn't back seat mod'ing (not intentially) just enquiring as to whether it was getting into a completely different realm.

I figured that as mods had commented on the subject outwith topic it was deemed ok to continue in the vain it was. But i get that giving you the heads up be best.

Its just that its such a depressing change of tone, from a potential new signing, to the demise of the club we all love.

Alot of clubs have chief Execs, who do alot of the same things that DoFs seem to such as contract negotiation on behalf of the manager/head coach, except they tend to come more from business backgrounds as opposed to football ones in general.
