ESSON

DUFF HOGG GRANTY GILLET / SHINNIE

HAYES ROSS DUNCAN DORAN

ROONEY FORAN

Fields of Athenry The Longman Dump - the Lyrics

By a lonely weegie wall

I heard a young Tim crying

"Caley they are taking Barnes away

For they stuffed us three to one.

Wilson, Mann, Sheerin - well done."

Now a Sun headline lies waiting in the tray.

Chorus

So come here the noise of Sneckie Boys

As once more we take the Mighty Cellic on.

Hart (Hayes) flew down the wing

A Wyness (Rooney) goal was a shure thing

As the Caley went (go) ballistic once again.

After a Quarter Final draw

I again heard that young Tim calling

"Henrik will score at least three"

But we rose again we took them down

Despite their Famine and their Crown

Now they must treat the Sneck with dignity.

Chorus

By a lonely Marina wall

I watched the last star falling

As HMS Sneck sailed out against the sky

But she'll wait and in hope I pray

She will return on a Sunday

And it will be allowed by the the Wee Free Presbetry :rotflmao::rotflmao:

Chorus

Tokely was superb today, and is now much more comfortable in central defence - himself and Hogg are forming a decent CD partnership. Even if Gillet is fit I think TB should stick with Munro at LB. I also hope that MacDonald gets a start sometime soon, but not in this game.

Duff, Hogg, Tokely, Munro

Tokely was great today and there is no chance he would be left out!

Also Ross was prob the best player on the park today as well so if all the regular midfielders are fit then one out of Hayes, Cox, Duncan, Ross or Dorran will have to miss out. Tough choice who that would be.

The 4-5-1 formation worked quite well today so I'd go with

.....Esson.....

Duff, Hogg, Tokely, Munro

Hayes, Cox, Duncan, Doran or Ross, Foran

.......Rooney......

Gillet is back in training but not match fit. He could have been on the bench today and had the last 15 mins but TB must've decided to hold him back. Shinnie likely to be out for rest of season after his illness and op.

I am surprised most of if not all are expecting Esson to start but funnily enough, i would play him to but will "Oor Tel".

I would go:

Esson

Duff, Hogg, Tokely, Munro

Hayes, Cox, Duncan, Sutherland

Foran and Rooney.

I agree entirely with you Johnboy i'd be quite happy with that formation and line up

There's no way i'd throw Gillet into this one seeing there is so much at stake and I agree i don't think Terry would either

I got my ticket early(Section F in the North) as i was in a priority group(I attended the Morton and Elgin games in the previous rounds  )

Roll on Sunday :ictscarf:

Shinnie will need recovery time and i doubt Gillet will get thrown straight in against Celtic.

here goes...

Esson

Duff, Tokely, Hogg, Munro

Hayes, Duncan, Cox, Doran

Foran, Rooney

Subs: Tuffey, Gillet, Ross, Sutherland, MacDonald

Celtic's midfield is excellent at the moment and I think we'll need someone nominally in one of the wide areas who is comfortable tucking when required to. For that reason, I wouldn't start with both Doran and Hayes. Don't know how Ross played yesterday, but I think I'd be inclined to start him ahead of Doran, who from what I've seen can drift in and out of games a bit. Apart from that, I'd go with ajsict92's team.

Are both Brown and Wilson missing for celtic due to bans?

Yes

celtic have not been that great of late and are beatable. If hayes and Doran can stay wide and use the whole pitch I believe we can easily get through their midfield. Their defence has been a bit shaky as well so this could be a great time for us.

Brown is out because he is a despicable arrogant pig headed to55er, much despised across the land and just a ned of the highest order.

Thats why the other ned Lennon loves him so much, pair of neandethals.

I would leave out Dorran if Hayes is fit. Don't think we can play against Celtic with both of them on either wing and Hayes is by far the better option. Ross was excellent on saturday, especially playing through the middle, so I would start him. It is a bit problematic though having Cox Duncan and Ross as neither are really a left midfielder so I would probably play Ross there with Foran in front of him so he doesn't have to play on the wing and can drift inside if needed.

so...

Esson

Duff Tokely Hog Munro

Hayes Cox Duncan Ross

...........................Foran

............Rooney

Esson

Duff Tokely Hogg Shinnie/Gillet (Munro 3rd choice)

Duncan Cox

Hayes (Ross Foran)*

Rooney

*Tbh I dont see either of them as wide players but they can switch about and Foran can obviously support in behind Rooney.
