Time for the incompetent indivual currently at the helm to be gone.

Who would we want?

In our current financial situation? Charlie Christie if he would even entertain it. Ross Tokely seems to know the youth team quite well as well.

Ian McCall if things smoothen out a bit, although he wouldn’t move up here I suspect.

I would go for some young and hungry manager with a history of being able to scrap for results in a lower league. I don't know who that is as I have not followed League One/Two or the HL for years.

Would also not be against the names mentioned so far (or other former players who may have moved into coaching already), but that would have to be starting with a clean slate as we would not want off-field shenanigans to tarnish the reputation of one of our playing heroes. In the case of Ryan Esson, and possibly others, I think a complete clear-out from dugout to boardroom would be required before any of our alumni would take it on. I simply cant see Charlie taking it on for the reasons specified when he gave it up before.

Ian McCall is at Clyde. Probably happy there with a bit of punditry on the side tbh.

Yeah and they looked doomed until he took over, done a great job in getting them off the bottom.

There is probably not a club in Scotland with less credibility than this one--anyone even considering taking on the manager's job in the current circumstances would need one criterion: to be completely desperate for a job.

Looks like that desperate one is already here . Clueless but knows he won’t get a job anywhere else,  same as his mate Gardiner now totally un employable in football .

He is on big money and didn't take a pay cut when we dropped into this league because if we go into administration he would get less money and the same would go for his son Cameron who got a one year contract from a club with no money, only interested in ££££££££

And yet, he is being allowed to wreak yet more chaos on the club.

If Dunc goes given our financial positions its likely your new manager is already at the club in Bollan - whether anyone likes it or not

As big Dunc has said “ that’s fitba fans” end of quote.

no pedigree themselves as a player, a coach, but they certainly think they know best.

Yes, exactly. The harsh realities are stark when you look at our club in the cold light of day. I’d like to see someone like the ex Buckie thistle manager (some other poster suggested it earlier elsewhere). Did a good job at a level where our lot are properly at right now. Big plus for me is, he is a northern Scot that won’t jump at the first opportunity to get back down the A9 to manage any dead wood central belt team, ie Clyde!

In fairness Bollanball sounds considerably more sexy football when compared to Fergball, which is a bit too close to Furball for comfort

Was it Bollanball that got Cowdenbeath relegated from League Teo or was that someone else? I seem to remember him doing poor with them regardless.

If we're going for digital currency, can my digital CV from Football Manager count? 😂

It was Maurice Ross. Bollan was no better though - finished bottom in 2018 but survived the playoffs due to Cove’s indiscipline and some dodgy refereeing.

Aye and it's because we gave him a three year deal on such a big wage that we can't afford to sack him and I was told that he refused to take a cut in wages when we were relegated which should have been in his contract.

Did Morrison not say on The Wyness Shuffle that Ferguson took a 'significant' pay cut?

Of course if the rumoured £4k a week in the Championship was anywhere near accurate, even if he took a 50% cut he'd still be on a ridiculous £100k + a year for a league 1 manager.

He might have done we will never know like all the personal contracts they can tell you anything he is getting paid far to much full stop and that's why he is going nowhere.
