Really hope Richie has a plan B.   This season is quickly turning into a nightmare!

Calm down. We are two games into the league season and we have one apparently serious injury. Not a dream start but a very long way from being a nightmare.

Kevin has undergone surgery on his achilles, but there's no news on how long he will be out for.

Foran was quoted as saying he thought he'd be out for the season .

When McNaughton went off, it was the slowest walk to the touchline I've ever seen.  It seemed pretty obvious it was not the sort of knock you can simply run off so I wonder why he wasn't taken off on a stretcher?  Apart from the fact that trying walk was obviously very painful for the poor lad, putting any weight at all on it surely risked making the injury worse.

Mulraney just tweeted that hes fine and not on injury list. Some good news at least...

Oh good, did he say anything about scoring a goal?

OK everyone. As this is a featured topic, try and keep all posts on topic within reason. The odd transgression is OK, but when everyone jumps on the bandwagon, then the topic gets out of hand.

All your horsing about has trotted off to General Nonsense, where it belongs. So keep this topic on course furlong as you can please. Offenders will find themselves banned from the topic if it continues. Try me!

Whilst looking for something unrelated on Soccerbase I noted an interesting stat or two so far this season.

Our top scorer with 3 goals also has 3 yellows so far. So that's a 1 to 1 ratio of goals to cards.

Kevin McNaughton out of his boot and at the gym re-habbing.  Still obviously a long way off, and has a serious hobble, but getting out of the boot and ditching the crutches must be a bit of a relief to him.

Media reports quoting Foran as saying Fisher will be offered a contract extension next week to tie him up until the summer.

He is out tomorrow due to injury, along with Cole and possibly McKay. With King ineligible, doubt we will have 7 subs!

Concerned about subs.We don't even need 11 players.

10 men, we only need 10 men.

Against the Jam Tarts we only needed 9!

Thats what I thought too, so I double checked the stats on here and it only mentioned Warrens red.

Let's see if we can do it with 11.

OFW- back injury has a chance next week

Carlo- hamstring maybe 2 weeks needs assessed

Vigurs - groin out next week

Dorran- ok

Polworth ok

little chance against Celtic next week so put on the subs give them a run out and andprepare for the "sheep"

Given the problems we have had with too many centre midfielders, and that King is back, we can probably deal with losing Vigurs. Tremarco is more of a loss given his recent form.

Little chance against Celtic?...............Who is this wonderful Celtic that all the pundits are raving about?.................Two dodgy draws against richer opposition and they think the world is at their feet. Richie Foran got it very right tonight with ;his comments on STV regarding Celtic not being as far ahead in the field as is being made out to be.

Oh yes they ;have some excellent players or players who could be and should be excellent but as a team they like the Dons, are still a side of good individuals. The two most improved Teams in the league are ICT and the Rangers who play as Teams then you have Hearts and St. Johnstone who have also improved and are stabilising as Teams with their form currently ahead of last season.

No Celtic are not that far ahead of the others, in points at the moment yes but there is a long way to go in the league

and despite their wealth I can foresee a number of difficult matches ahead for them.

Fingers crossed OFW will be back, his experience is vital for this match and that is no slur on anybody else. We will miss Tremarco but what an able deputy we have in David Raven. I am not in any despairing mode for this match the lads will give it a real go and we should acquit ourselves well.

Any news on Polworth? Took a sore one on Saturday. Tansey will be suspended against his future employers which is a shame.
