Worst moment of the season

Probably Black being dropped.  There were probably worst things that happened but it was just the big arrow pointing to how disarrayed we had become.

TinCanFan: You're worst day might come at the end of the season - Watt not being kept on  :022:

4th august 2007 - 17th may 2008.

:cry05: :cry05: :cry05: :cry05:

bad moments all the way through.  A season to forget.  The good run we had November - December is a distant memory hazed over by all the guff that surrounded it.

If this is the reaction of our "fans" when we finish one position lower than the previous season (despite being rooted to the bottom of the league in September) I really dread what kind of attitude they will have when we inevitably some way along the line actually have a poor season and get relegated.

Where to start?...

CC resigning for non-football reasons

The boards smoke screen regarding CC's replacement

Brewster being appointed

Our 6 game losing streak at the start of the season including losing to Celtic 5-0.

Losing John Rankin and Donald Park

Our 9 games without a win

The string of events that followed including Brewsters treatment of Wyness, Black being forced to train with the U19's, Accusations of tapping up (Chester City players to make it even worse)

Losing Alan Savage, losing Wyness (not in terms of loss to the club but their reasons for leaving)

This season was sh*te but still there are people who insist that I am less of a fan because I am unhappy dry.gif

Couldn't agree more Jay_7.

We've been an embarrasment this season.

Worst for me was Scottish Cup v's Hibs - down and out in 10mins - very sad state of affairs.

I think the manner in which we were getting beat was very concerning, some of the defeats were so poor from our performance point of view.

The signing of Mcguire was a big mistake... he i'm afraid, is my biggest failure this season.

Andy, had Wyness being playing well but nor scoring he might have got a new contract, had been playing poor and scoring he probably would have got a new contract, but lets face it, he has been playing crap AND not scoring, so if Brew had decided to give another year or two to Denzil, who then kept up the poor form when we could have used the money to sign someone else,

who would be in the wrong?

Legends dont go on forever.

I'd maybe have to go for the Hibs game in the Scottish. What a let down.

I only got up to a handful of home games though, so I have to say nearly every away game I went to was a load of shyte apart from Tynie at xmas.

There's an interesting point - maybe those who only go to home games have more rosy memories of the season than others who travel away.

:003: Why he only got one game, I'll never know.

But my worst bit of the season has to be when Warnock didn't come.  :007:
