Scotscoup returns to the TCS

Thought you would all be pleased to know that former stadium bookmakers Scotscoup will be making a return to the football club for our game this Saturday against St Mirren and every game thereafter.

On Tuesday the 9th September, the Highland Council granted the football club?s stadium betting licence; allowing us to once again operate betting here on match day. A change in the Gambling Laws dictated that the stadium had to have a betting licence; whereas before, this licence only had to be held by the bookmaker itself.

The bookmakers will be available to the fans in the North concourse and will do the rounds of the Hospitality Suites and Boxes as before.

Remember your pennies on Saturday!!

A double-whammy of good news! I'd always wondered why there wasn't such a facility on-site, given that the TCS is miles away from the nearest bookies. A welcome additional service, and presumably, income stream for the club.

Also, I'm glad that someone from the club is showing willing by posting on the forum. Are we ushering in a new era of fan-club communication? - don't think this announcement is even on the official website yet. :rotflmao:

Darren isn't the first from the club to post on the forums. Angela frequently responds to queries and is fairly pro-active in providing information (where possible) on events and things like the special offer for Season Ticket holders in hospitality this month. Andrina in the shop will also answer any questions people raise in regards to that side of things.

As is the case, these people can only provide information when they have it, it might not be much, but it is appreciated by those who use the site.

People like Angela and Andrina (Darren may prove to fit into this category also in time) are highly thought of among the fans, their willingness to assist and actually do something if they say they will do it brings a much needed glint of positivity to the club and we could do with a few more like them down at the Stadium.

It can't be easy when they have little to work with and are often the ones taking the brunt of things from the fans, but it's always service with a smile....and little things like that go a long way.

To reiterate CaleyD's points

Andrina has been providing ticket information for the away games and for 'special' home games such as those V the OF or cup games for more than two years

Angela has answered quite a few queries when they have been raised and has also been responsible for providing the weekly posters for home games. No poster for this week's game though but I believe there may be a reason for this.

Darren has also posted on the old forum before (I think) and has certainly asked me about adding commercial information in the past.

All are welcome and we are happy to get this information and pass it along when the club provide it.

Is this the same Darren MacKintosh that ran "Harpers Fitness" in Harbour Road a few years ago?
