Todays Attedance

Nearly 2,000 lower than previous games against Aberdeen and even lower than the Monday night game(s).

Is it cost? Brewster/team performance? Novelty of the SPL wearing off? Very disappointing whatever the reason  :007:

The attendance for the last home game against Aberdeen in October 07 was 6,023.  So, although the attendance is down, it's not as dreastic as you make out.

I'm not talking about just this season though. There has been a continuing decrease in the attendances in games against Aberdeen in Inverness with the Home support getting smaller each time. Last season the Monday night game, on the TV on a cold November night, drew more fans. Indeed todays game was some 1,800 down on the similar fixture only a couple of seasons ago. It's just a bit sad to see the numbers drop so much.

team performance and the fact it was almost meaningless

For us maybe. Not for Aberdeen. But that ties in with what I've said above really  :003:

Hold on a minute - nothing to play for?

First win against Aberdeen in a competitive game counts as nothing to play for?

Today's crowd was pretty good given our lack of form and the fact that there is nothing to play for.

Entirely expected and not difficult to understand.

Prior to the match there had been ten games on the trot without a win and precious little entertainment.

Although the Dons brought a very healthy support it appeared to me that their support was also down a bit on what they usually bring.
