It seem that the bookies are looking into unusual betting on the sending off in last nights Motherwell game. Alledgedly lots of new accounts set up and betting on Motherwell player being sent off.

After the cricket scandal this is not what Scottish Football would want if true. This may be pure coincidence with Jennings an ex-Liverpudlian being wrongly associated with people from Liverpool involved in high odds betting on a Motherwell player being sent off. This was potentially a very tense match given the position of the teams in the league.

Having seen the highlights this morning I thought he was a tad fortunate not to have conceded a penalty or bookable offence on the edge of the box late on. The subsequent penalty appeal seemed to mark him down as a bit of a fool.
