C mon guys the future is bringing through the youth and we are not far away from building a decent team at the moment. I feel that any signings now really have to be thought through. Anyone coming in now must be able to push us on. The rest of the season could hinge on the next few weeks.

If we bring in any new players in the January transfer window, they need to be better than the ones we already have, they need to improve the team and push us on. I remember Hughes saying he would only sign players that were better than what we had,  and then brought in duffer after duffer. Robbo needs to use the money, if there is any, wisely. If the players aren't available,  he should show his trust in our youth. I am old enough to remember Donald Park, Tichy Black and Davie Milroy, to name but a few, playing for their school teams in the morning and their respective Highland League clubs in the afternoon,  it certainly didn't do their careers any harm.

Afraid so, they played at the concert at Telford Street about 1970.

Getting off topic, slap me. In fact, you were there as well.

Gary Harkins has left Queen of the South. What's the story there?

Manfer's comments  flow from wisdom and a touch of irony still left  in his bones and not from any desire to put-down anybody else's comments. Watch out for that wily old fox and pay attention, Corporal.

Suffocated in Polly's pocket the other week so they had to terminate his contract.

Different story up here, he was man of the match by a mile and a half.....

With Calder, Zak gone and OFW heading out the door this Jan. Surely that has freed up some money for at least two players.

With Tremarco being out we have being left short on the bench for defenders. Maybe a new defender? Have we got any young defenders at the club who could step up as it seems to be only midfield players and Daniel making the first team.

I hear he's off to Edinburgh City.

Bear in mind, we still have Matty Machado and quite a lot of other youngsters who could possibly be ready to make their debut in the empty midfield spot...seeing as Carly is due to be out until whenever, probably til New Years, think it's time to start training up the younger players to get them paced and give them their day. We don't need to splash the cash on something we already have multiple of, and will boost their careers...save the money for when we desperately need it...

......I'm sure if Robbo thought the kids were ready he would be giving them their chance.

Who's Matty Machado is that the Brazilian young buck ? If these young guns were good enough yet robbo would've played them look at wee McGregor great player so much better than our sideways passing genius Trafford
