Brewster should not go. He is a good manager, and is the best man for the job right now (narring crazy ideas). Bring back john robertson? Thats just taking the p*ss. Brew has not been getting the rub ofthe green needed to win games in the spl, but we have been playing attractive football. As soon as we win one game, we'll go on another run of being unbeaten; its what always happens. Realistically we had very little chance of taking anything from todays game, and the result shouldn't be a surprise. The performance was disappointing but now everyone should forget about it and move on to the hibs game.

Exactly. We are on a bad run but we certainly AREN'T a bad team. Results will come with patience. Spitting the dummy after a defeat against a strong rangers team at Ibrox is just ridiculous. The game was beyond us early on thanks to Mikey blunder boy, sh"t happens. Esson will finally be between the sticks next week, so I guess every cloud has a silver lining.

It isn't a hard luck story to say we deserved more from most of our games this season, it's just stating the facts. We could easily have taken 12 points from our home games against Hamilton, St Mirren, Celtic and Motherwell but for a single break of the ball or refereeing decision either way. There's far too much knee-jerk emotion and not enough logic going on in this thread. Brewster has signed good young players, we are fit and usually well organized. Yesterday apart, we have never lost by more than a single goal this season.

The problem is that we aren't putting the ball in the back of the net. Sacking the manager is not the solution.

Awh....c'mon......its defeats this season by the likes of Hamilton, St Mirren, Falkirk, Motherwell, Dundee Utd, not to mention struggling against the like of Arbroath and Morton in the cup, as well as the general level of fotball the fans are being subjected to that has lead to this.

Dont make out this uproar is because of a single defeat!

So if we aren't a bad team (I sort of agree with you on that one) and we don't have a bad manager where does the fault lay then DBS?

If that's your summing up of how we play football then all I can say is thank Christ it's not you in the dugout!

Honestly i don't mind if anyone doesn't like brewster any more, as long as they don't forget that if they are attacking him and abandoning going to games then they are abandoning the team and the club. \there are other ways to get a point across but the worst is not truning up to give a boost to the players.

I've not read through all the postings on this thread, so please forgive me if i cover old ground. I just want to voice my opinion.

I -like many- was not too impressed when CB arrived at ICT for his second spell, yet gave the man a chance to succeed with us for a second time.

Enough is now enough, especially when you see him quoted as saying we "restored some pride in the second half", I feel a lot more could have been done! Pride is getting a goal or two back without conceeding any more. Pride is pushing everyone forward and taking them on, and not pulling everyone behind the ball ensuring we dont get completely humiliated rather than just hammered.

Last season we lost 5-0 at parkhead, but our performance did not justify the scoreline - we were better than that. Yesterday was a complete shambles which is proof enough to me that we cannot perform under brew - we are on the slide.

I am, however, willing to give him till the end of the month to prove me wrong. That is how far I can possibly see any little support for CB in my veins. Joint top at the start of september to second bottom 2 months later??? Dispicable to say the least.

The only ones kidding themselves are the ones defending the management. Wyness Legend, Ralph Milne, Dead Ball Specialist and Caleyonup are Ostriches personified.

Well said Jay 7. Any manager who selects a guy to play at Ibrox when he has not played first team football for about 6 weeks is incompetent. It was not that he did not have a choice. Jamie Duff was our best defender midweek against Falkirk yet he was dropped. Rooney and Wood have beeen playing regularly so you would think should be totally match fit. Who does our manager choose to play as our lone striker, Barrowman who has played 20 odd mins in the last month. Add to this his total reluctance to drop Michael Fraser despite numerous **** ups this season and there is only one conclusion SACK HIM AND HIS BACKROOM TEAM.

The thing that annoyed me most about yesterdays game after the red mist had gone, was the lack of respect Brewster showed the FANS in his post-match comments. There should be some sort of apology, not his usual second half/great character bullsh*t he wheels out after every game!

Showing the fans respect may have saved his ass a couple of times when we've needlessly lost some of the games we have this season, and people wouldn't be calling for his head (me being included in that). He constantly assess games in the wrong way and yesterdays comments were the perfect example.

I agree aswell as in his post match interview its always the players fault when we lose its never his fault. in the recent match against motherwell he took off rooney for a midfielder - rooney was the only player who looked like scoring. he played for the draw and when playing at home against a team like motherwell you should always play for the win.

i think he should be sacked. last time around he left as soon as dundee utd came knocking and he didnt last long. maybe he shouldnt have being allowed back in the first place.

Brewster made sure we got enough compensaition, UTD offered a figure and said Caley needed mroe and he wouldn't leave at that price. UTD is the club he supported as a boy..

Probably the lowest I've felt as an ICT fan.

Maybe CB will do the honourable thing now?

PS just heard your interview Craig......FYI 'caley' ceased to exist 14 year ago !!! :rotflmao:

Always was and always will be known as CALEY so just accept it. :thumb04:

Time for a complete change - GB also has to take the flak as well as the plaudits! We have to get rid of the "happy family heathmount club"

I have been doing a little number crunching on the old spreadsheet, it makes interesting reading.

In terms of "winning-est seasons", this one is right down there at the bottom along with Robbo's start to SPL life at Pittodrie. In fact, in both that season (04/05) and this season (08/09) the managers had almost identical stats with Robbo's side having scored one less goal in total. However, I feel that Robbo had the twin excuses of playing our home games at Pittodrie and the fact we had just been promoted to the SPL. Robbo also oversaw our 2nd and 5th most succesfull managerial periods whereas Brew only gets into the chart at 12, 13, 16 and 18

Robbo

The cause for concern here for me seems to be the dramatic drop in wins. nearly 40% last year, 28% this year !!!

Winning % by season

Get to **** Smee, Scotty, Proctor and Mantis. (or, as you like to call it on here "****")

Seriously.

Show a bit of belief.

You, like at lot of people on here, have been calling for Brew's head since the day he joined.

It's people like you who are dragging this team down - not Craig Brewster.

Get behind your team - the players and the management.

They say the support can be like a 12th man.

At times ours is more like a broken leg.

Come on Caley!

all the fans want to get behind the team it is craig brewster and malky that are dragging the team down you can see the players body launguage they have no faith in him so why the **** should we
