Sandwich from snack wagon this morning, egg.bacon, sausage & black pudding.........wow what more could you ask for.

Tattie Scone....that would complete the perfect breakfast roll.

I miss the Donar Kebabs I used to get when I stayed in Livingston, the biggest I had ever seen made using a nan bread and enough to feed a family of 4...or just me after I'd had a couple of beers, seriously, these things were the size of a loaf of bread.  Put what you couldn't eat in the fridge then slice it and fry it the next day in a really hot pan - serve with a portion of curried beans....guaranteed to have plenty space around you in the office the following Monday  :001:

And the all time classic....melted cheese on toast with Worcester (SP?) Sauce.

Fruit cake eaten along with that crumbly Cheshire or Lancashire cheese is to die for.....

Mind you - reading CaleyD's description of donar kebabs stirred a few happy memories.... amazing what you willl eat when you're smashed out your brains.....  :005:  :003:

Jeeeez.... The last time I was in a Little Chef (about 10 years ago)... they charged for each item on the breakfast plate... 2 rashers of bacon @ £1.20... 1 sausage @£1.90 .... 1 fried egg @ £1.90 .. 1 piece of fried bread @ £1.50.... Thank feck I didn't ask for baked beans.....!!

Never been back to a little Chef since.....
