When will Zander get another chance?

When will CC give Zander another chance. It is nearly 2 months since he came on last and had an outstanding 15 minutes against Dunfermline. IMHO we are screaming out for a winger who can skin a right back, and that is something the young lad can do .

Come on CC get him on the park next week.

Absolutely right guys.  On Saturday Zander could have provided the spark of genius we needed to open up the Hearts defence in the last 15 minutes.  I would have hooked Roy for him instead of Dargo.  Zander on the left could have given Robbie Neilson some problems instead of the easy afternoon Roy gave him.

He played 90 minutes on the right in the drubbing of Falkirk at the end of last season and was a contender for MOTM, but came on against the Pars on the left and (along with Mcallister) turned the game in our favour. He won the corner which we scored the winner from with a fantastic dribble.

Charlie Christie is far too neglectful of fringe players in my opinion. Hart has been a stand out virtually every time he's been taken on, Sutherland has never let the side down, and is on fire in the reserves. What else do they have to do to get in the first team? We've now gone 3 games without a goal, it's time to give these guys a chance.

I'm sure Sutherland and McAllister will get their chances pretty soon. With Dargo on 5 cards and Wilson on 4 suspensions are a strong possibility.

To say that CC is neglectful of fringe players is a bit ott though. Do we want to be chopping and changing the team every week aka Le Guen and Romanov with little or no success or do we want stability. Those players who start week in week out gel together, know each other and are able to read each other so they work as a team. Bringing in others doesn't always help to maintain that stability. New players coming in always need a few games to gel with the rest.

As for Ritchie Hart, he has been a standout when he's come on. Unfortunately he's still being bothered with a groin strain so there's a risk in starting him.

Stats must be wrong on here then. Definitely says 6 yellow cards for Dargo for league games in the squad list section  :024:

Hopefully Zander will get a game on Saturday though. He would provide more of an attacking option for a game we should be aiming to win

zander or morgan should replace mcbain. Mcbain lacks pace, adventure, he can only use his left foot and dosent score enough. he shouldnt be playing in this league and maybe county in january permanently will be best!

The longer CC leaves it and the lower down the league we go, the more pressure will be put on Zander when he comes on. CC should have nurchured him into the first team months ago, if he's good enough, he's old enough.
