Perhaps so, but if I was a manager under close scrutiny and not churning out results then I'd be looking to give the fans some positive news other than adding another negative by saying that I've not even looked at what could turn out to be one of the most important transfer windows we've faced in a long time.

Another example of how naive ICT and it's employee's are when it comes to PR I guess, and by now it shouldn't come as a surprise.
