Sorry Alex but it sounds to me like a man who cares, is really fecked off by a 5-0 defeat, and doesn't ever want it to happen again.

No Clue- sorry, but then again all the championship managers on here would know better than a man who has over 20 years experience in Pro football and a man who has the highest coaching accreditation that UEFA can give out !

Face facts, Celtic and Rangers are light years ahead of ICT in resources, yes on a day a result could happen but whats also for sure is that ICT, Hamilton, ST Mirren, Dunfermline, Dundee,Dundee Utd, St Johnstone, Motherwell, Kilmarnock WILL ALL GET HUMPED FROM TIME TO TIME

As for BW to become involved ( if only i could say )

Once again mr Brewster(Or ralph for the sake of the board) you come on defending yourself, you really dont like criticism do you,an arrogant big heed who cant see that it is you to blame, you dont have a clue about tactics, players or man management you really are about as bright as a 1 watt bulb, there's the door shut it on your way out

I'm not convinced that "Ralph" is Brewster. I am convinced he is something to do with the club (higher up perhaps?) If I am correct, "Ralph" should sit up and realise that it is not only Brewsters head that folk are calling for. The BoD may have pulled the wool over many's eyes but there are those who realise that changes need to occur at BoD level in order for ICT to progress.

Enough with the "jobs for the boys", Brewsters leaving will only be the beginning of the end for a few at the club...

I am in no way blind to the many problems which face our team at the moment, both on and off the field. It may smack of blind loyalty but can't we really get behind the team for the next few vital games for us ? I'll be at Easter Road this Saturday to give them a cheer and I have a feeling that we can bounce back after yesterday's trouncing. I know many will say "On what evidence?" and I haven't much, but I know our team is made of sterner stuff and they can dig deep. What Brew really needs to do this week is do a Redknapp and really motivate the team and make them believe in themselves again.

Leave the club currently employing him?...

In all seriousness, I can't see any reason for folk to pay good money for what's on offer at the moment. Of course we have fans based in Edinburgh, but I'll stick my neck out and suggest our lowest away attendance in the SPL at Easter Rd.

If you were travelling by car ?30 quids worth of fuel plus a ?20 ticket + food and beverages. This of course is assuming you're going by yourself...

A family of four for example will probably shell out somewhere in the region of about ?100 next weekend. And for what? To see a decidedly average Hibs side molest our defence? Colin Nish is probably going to play so you can stick at least a 1 goal deficit on there before we've even kicked a ball.

Guest caleyjen

Oh dear, oh dear, Life as a caley supporter is really dire at present and apppears to be getting worse by the week. I am really concerned that some still believe that Brew can get us out of this hole. Wake up and :rotflmao: look at the results we are almost bottom of the table and does anyone think that with the current dressing room feeling that this will get any better before Christmas? I don't think so I say he should go now and give us a chance to get ourselves back up the table before we are actually bottow and its too late to slove the problem and we are back playing against the team over the bridge next season........

"Really sorry - but I have now listened to that five times and, from a psychological perspective - I am DISGUSTED." IHE

What planet are you on mate? :rotflmao:

This entire thread is exactly the same as one last year after we lost 3-0 to Kilmarnock. Total hysteria. Fantacists claiming to have 'inside information' that Brewster is going to walk away. Political conspiracies behind the scenes. Robbo is coming back blah blah blah.

The sky didn't fall in back then, and it isn't about to fall in now. The current ICT team is NOT the worst ever, in fact it has the makings of the BEST ICT team ever (Imrie, Munro, Duff, Proctor, Cowie, Vigurs, Rooney, Barrowman, Wood, Black etc have not yet reached their peak) There are no mickey mouse teams in the SPL anymore, standards have risen since we first arrived. We have lost key players to rival SPL teams with bigger cheque books.

Right now we are 5 points off the top 6 despite not having the rub of the green at all. We are a better side than Falkirk, St Mirren and Hamilton. We held our own against the champions and should have beaten them. Only one team has gubbed us, helped in large part by a goalkeeping disaster. Sacking the manager would be a very big mistake indeed IMHO. Why take such a big gamble? In completely exaggerating how bad we are, some of the more excitable posters on this board seem to have lost sight of the fact that things could be MUCH MUCH WORSE.

Do you get off on talking about the rub of the green? It's got f*ck all to do with luck and plenty to do with Brewster being a f*cking disgrace to this club.

Lets be honest here

A good percentage of the Caley fans have had enough of Brewster (me included) but we all know the board is not going to sack him and i can not see Brewster resigning so we are just going to have to try a way to get through to the club board and try and make them act first before its too late

I evidently live on a different planet from Brewster - What disgusts me is that he hasnt - and never does - admit that he got it wrong - that he was part of the problem - I get fed up with him trying to project the blame on others - that is why I call him arrogant.

The last straw - Meaning - The final additional small burden that makes the entirety of one's difficulties unbearable.

The straw that broke the camel's back is the last thing you are willing to accept after which you will not put up with any more. You are at the last straw when you are just about to lose your patience. The straw that broke the camel's back is the last thing that that happened that finally made you upset.

What would all of these anti-brewster posters done different yesterday then??? Signed the entire man utd squad and paid off the referee?? There was no chance we were going to get anything. Brewster has put together a squad that WILL stay up this season, and that alone means that he should stay. I know now that i will get attacked for "not having ambition that has got this club where it is today" but this year is the hardest yet, and certainly the most competitive SPL season ever. With fans like the ones posting today there is no wonder players don't stick around, they cannot win.

Sometimes a result like that galvanises a team - it's happened to us before.

It's not the first time Rangers have scored 5 goals against a fellow SPL team (didn't they do it to Celtic not so long ago?) and it certainly won't be the last.

Some of the posts in this thread are awfully theatrical. Perhaps if we could maintain a sense of perspective . . .

Were you at the game? I dont expect us to win against the OF. What I do expect is that we play. Rangers put five past a team that didn't appear to me to even want to be there. They were not fired up for the game. There was no drive. No spirit and clearly no motivation. Thats the job of the management team and it isn't happening.

No way. We'll bring a good support to Edinburgh and get behind the team as we always do. If we get ripped apart then the fans will turn on Brew at the game. We pay because it's our club and we support it. If that involves telling Brew to **** off on Saturday then i'm sure a good few heads will be there to do it.

Defnitely sounds like a man who cares too me....lost for words at what he has just witnessed may'be but he does care.

Annoying thing is if you class Wood and Duff as a re-shuffle then we seriously need to get new bodys in because neither of them are good enough to change any game really if you look at who was sacrificed for them.

If you were going to play Proctor put him in place of Tokely - Duff deserved to start - McBain could have replaced Hastings - Cowie could have been given a Bazza role - Imrie could have been tucked into midfield - Vigurs should have started - Rooney should have started.

Brewster has been feckin up the line ups, the systems and the tactic since near the close of last season. Plus he has lost the dressing room with all his nonsensical tactics and constant chopping and changing.

Brewster sounds like a tw@t in the interview as always. While Wednesday night was a "good performance", yesterday we were "going through the motions". Why the sudden change? Have we not been going through the motions at times throughout the season? There's a lack of spirit in the team - and this a team which has a majority of players who have served the club for years or come through the youth system. Brew has to take responisibility for the failure to foster a good spirit among this group of players - many of them have have played under three or four managers at ICT and never failed to give everything for the cause.

brewster- ur job is over why dont u go home?

Is that the 'neep song?

His job isn't over, it's far from it. He has got to regain the dressing room, motivate a demotivated team, retain the best players (not just his "favourites"), attract new players and start getting points.

I'd give him another week, then give someone else a chance. A "sporting chance" even. hint! hint!

With limited resources we have a reasonable team who have shown that they can play.

It is the lack of leadership and tactical direction that is missing.

The word on the street is that Brewster can barely speak to the team in the dressingroom. He appears to have lost it with the players.

It grieves me to say but he needs to consider his future with ICT.

The Board likewise need to sit up and take notice before we are in a relegation position.
