mmmm pies, thats my pie and bovril name :rotflmao:

No, Stephen Bradies at TCS

When i worked in the lossiemouth football club cafe, we used mince and steak pies. We sold the mince pies at ?1 and made 20p profit. We sold Steak Pies for ?1 and made 10p profit. Now if we only made a small profit in a small game, then imagian what the profit would be for a inverness game. You can buy 6 pies from Farmfoods for ?1 and i think that is what they (TCS Cafe) is doing just now.

They need to think more about QUALITY than QUANTITY

You could certainly make a case for McDougall and Hastie given their long association with the club in one way or another

Unfortunately, in the current economic climate the club are likely to go for the option that delivers greatest income rather than quality.

Do our pies not come from Huntly or some such place and is it not the case that the pie shops are rented to an outside caterer.

Burger van outside main stand.

So theres a door open in the main stand so we can get to it during the game

Everyone knows Aberdeen Angus is a big coo.

Yes. The door is opened and barriers erected to direct the queue and stop you from escaping the stadium.

we are caley, not dons. I dont think we would wander about the front of the staduim like sheep. Anyway, is it not used more for people coming into the staduim at half time?

I dont like GM White (mingin and expensive) or Aberdeen Angus (Too expensive)

The catering contract should be kept in house allowing the club to maximise profits and choose/change suppliers at a moments notice. They could also get a bit of merchandising into the tuck shops generating extra income (Matchday programmes, scarves, hats, etc.) Soda fountains vs cans poured into cups would also generate more income and reduce waste.

Takes too long as it is to handle the half time queue. Dont slow it down further with merchandise.

Dont they already have drinks on draught

The concession opposite the main stand doesn't have draught. With proper organisation the turnaround of queueing punters could be improved somewhat but it would take commitment and investment from the club which they may not be able or willing to commit to. Regards merchandise this could be a big seller especially prior to kick off when there is little or no queueing.
