Imrie, apparently had plans for Killie or Aberdeen on a pre contract agreement at the end of the season but was keen to play SPL football.

Flip that around and you are right. Aberdeen and Killie were after him but only on a pre contract deal. We jumped the queue by offering Clyde money for hi and getting him signed up right away.

I could be wrong but I don't think we've technically signed McGuire yet.  The last I remember reading about him it suggested that his loan spell was extended to the end of the season and he'd signed a pre-contract.

I remember reading somewhere that we couldn't extend his loan period as it was written into the loan deal that it couldn't be extended.  I think we signed him on a pre-contract, but then negotiated his release for a nominal fee.  Can't actually confirm this, but this was my understanding.

I believe laura is correct in that Phil has been signed. Seem to remember something about only needing to agree terms with the player after reaching an  agreement with Dunfermline.
