Players For Next Season

I see Kenny Deuchar scored a brace at Ibrox today.

He's a player who has consistantly scored at every level he's played from Third Division to SPL.  He's out of contract at the end of this season and has made no secret of the fact that he's leaving Raydale come what may.

We could do a lot worse that speak to him about a pre contract agreement.

He'd be okay and so would that guy Yantorno though he's out for the rest of the season still though ICT could do with a new keeper to back-up Fraser though hopefully CB won't try and sign Zibi properly and send him back at the end of the season.

I agree, sounds like a player we could afford in our squad  :021:

Doubt we could afford Offiong to be honest. I wonder if a couple of loan signings might be looked at. A Celtic or Rangers youth/reserve perhaps? I thought Jim O'Brien looked an intriguing prospect in the game against Dundee United recently. Someone like Fetai might not be so good however!

According to Wikipedia, the Livingston captain James McPake can play both striker and defender.  Worth a look?

Yep.  BEfore January I said we should be interested in (then) 4 Livi players, McPake, Dorrans, Snodgrass and Mcmenamin.  Dorrans is off to West Brom and Colin M went from Gretna to Dundee, McPake would be next on my list.

There was a suggestion that Charlie Christie was very keen on signing Offiong last summer. He's done well in the First Division for a number of seasons now but may opt to stay at Hamilton if, as appears likely, they are promoted.

Wouldn't bet on that. Dundee only four behind and St J ten.

Any chance of us having Tokely, Wyness & Duncan next season? The negotiations that are going on, seem to be taking a heck of a lot longer than we were led to believe.

It seems that Roscoe and Denzil should be signing soon, but we can't meet russells wages demands apparently ! :017:

I'd be interested to know the wage demands of a player who has been unable to pass the ball more than 5 yards in the last 3 or 4 games.

He has been able to pass the ball more than 5 yards. Unfortunately it may not necessarily be to one of his own team mates  :tic01:

Give him an extra ?100 a week and a free Specsavers account, he could be the new Edgar Davids.

I have just been on the AFC chat site and see that stevie lovell will be leaving Aberdeen in the sumer surley he would make a great signing for us since he always seems to score against us?

A highly under rated player, and by far and away the most lethal striker Aberdeen have.

However:

1. Other teams managers arn't as clueless at Calderwood, he will probably sign for a club of equal or greater stature than Aberdeen.

2. He is likely to return to England, as thats where he's from.

3. He is probably earning the same as Marius at Aberdeen
