They are former work colleagues and Im sure they got on and Terry has crossed a line (which his ex did too, allegedly more than once.)

Im sure he feels a bit let down and humiliated.

But to answer your question, whilst i might give it a bit to take the raw edge off(ie pull out of friendly but not altogether), I wouldn't let some mug who did the dirty on me take away an opportunity of a life time.

I'd like to think I'd be the bigger man and get on with it. None of the playing to the cameras by refusing to shake hands nonsense.

I would have taken the other option and instead of "missing a hand shake" I'd have put my fist through his face.... can you get sent off before a match kicks off???

Terry is a scumbag of a human being who has repeatedly cheated on his partner including one seedy instance where he had sex with a young girl, not underage I add, in his car. He's a wee bit beyond just crossing the line.

I'd happily wager a large amount of money that if you came face to face with a friend and former workmate who had slept with an ex partner of yours whom you had a child with and had then tried his best to cover it up to prevent you and others from finding out you would be struggling to "get on with it".

JT is a total prat. What gets me about it all is that they have gorgeous wives, loads of money in the bank, the adoration of kids everywhere and the best job in the world yet they're still not happy. They want more money and to shag any woman that isn't theirs. Why can't they be happy with what they have?

Poor Wayne Bridge - he's not even first choice with his his wife.

John Terry has been lined up to star in a new ITV drama. It's called Other Footballers' Wives.

John Terry has announced he's lost his England captain's armband. Fabio Capello told him to ask Wayne Bridge to check under the bed.

John Terry has explained he didn't mean to sleep with Vanessa Perroncel - he just slipped while he was showing her how to take a penalty.

We all knew John Terry liked scoring at The Bridge, but this is ridiculous.

What do Wayne Bridge and the Titanic have in common? They both should've stayed at Southampton.

A few members of the general public were interviewed on TV last night and were asked if Bridge did the right thing in blanking Terry on Sat. The vast majority said he should have sorted out the problem before the game and he was rather small minded. What a load of BOLLLOCKS! He should have kneed him in the b...s and stuck a right on his nose on the way down. Terry should be axed from the SQUAD never mind the captaincy - he's is obviosly a prat not to be trusted. On second thoughts, leave him in the squad and maybe they will all have a rteally poor WC!

1st of all I'd do my best to avoid the children part. I admit I don't think I'd be talking to him. But I wouldn't like to give him any satisfaction in knowing he's got to me.

Bridge is just acting a wounded soilder. There is obviously a reason it's now his ex. She isn't one to be trusted (even though she is single and not his) and probably not worth the pain he's putting himself through.

Im not denying that Terry is a total scumbag for cheating on his wife with whom he has children with. He's got a checkered past, but if his wife is daft enough to forgive him thinking it won't happen again then thats her problem.

As for throwing him out the squad. I doubt the English nation team would want to lose one of their best defenders, especially given Rio and Ledley are so injury prone. Its really got nothing to do with football and is a matter between JT and WB.

So guys you are telling me if one of your mates went off with your ex with who you hadn't long split up with (also who you have a kid with) you would be happy? Yeah they had split up but there are unspoken rules about this sort of thing!

The thing about unspoken rules is that they are also unheard.

If one of my mates went off with my ex, I'd have to buy him glasses, a stiff drink and a course of penicillin. ;)
