Head Coach/Manager

I see CC is always referred to as Head Coach and not manager.What exactly is the difference between the two, i've never understood it :024:

AFAIK a manager is responsible for pretty much everything on the football side of the club whereas the Head Coach/DoF basically splits the responsibility in two.  Probably one of the main reasons for our Head Coaches poor performance at other clubs, they go from having 1/2 the responsibility to having it all without someone guiding them.
