BBC 5 day forecast would suggest Dundee United should sweep the snow off tomorrow and prepare for a really good game. Undersoil is the least of their worries.

"Mind Games" - There's no way snow on the park should prevent any match going ahead (as it can be cleared), and they're best leaving it on till the last minute as it will help prevent frost getting to the pitch.

Xactly...... Leven was 'greetin' in the Sun that his players hadnt been able to train this week due to the weather, its all as you say Mind games .......... they want to be able to justify it if the play badly tomorrow just hope they do :rotflmao:

According to my colleague Jim Spence at the BBC in Dundee, much of the snow there has gone and Tannadice is expected to be absolutely fine, if a bit heavy. Can I just take this opportunity to advise that there WILL be live commentary from Scott Davie and Brian Irvine on Radio Scotland 92-95FM in the Highlands and Islands area. On this occasion the rugby is on 810 medium wave and not on FM, thus freeing the FM frequencies which can be opted out to give commentaries on more than one SPL match. This commentary is also online (I don't know if there are any restrictions for the diasporate) and the Open All Mics option is on 103.5-105FM where the reporter at Tannadice will be Jim Spence, Robbo being at Tynecastle.

Dundee Utd is one of the games that is not usually blocked so we will have our normal link to the feed (as well as open all mics) on the matchday thread in the morning.

Sorry

Who said there would be an inspection?

from bbc site

Dundee United's match with Inverness looks set to go ahead, despite the wintry weather on Tayside.

United manager Craig Levein is likely to give Paul Caddis his debut, while midfielder David Robertson and Paul Dixon are also in line for recalls.

Filipe Morais will miss the match for Inverness as the player is struggling with bruising around his knee.

Striker Andrew Barrowman will see a specialist next week about his own troublesome knee injury.
