Is in charge of Crawley Town following Steve Evan's departure for Rotheram. Dont know if its permanent or if he is just in temporarily.

Brewster has been deputy there all season. I think his promotion to manager is as a 'stand in' after his boss left suddenly to manage Rotherham, a few positions below them in FL2. A surprising move but admittedly Crawley have slipped badly in recent weeks, after looking odds on for their second promotion in a row before Xmas. Nevertheless Crawley are a decent side and if Craig keeps them in contention for promotion to FL1 he will have done well. Good luck to him.

Like players, certain managers are a good fit for certain teams and not for others .... he ended up not being a good fit for us in a management role (or any other team in Scotland where he took the reins), but if it works out for him down south then good luck to him.

Life's too short to be holding grudges ... he definitely laid very strong foundations for our relegation, and there can be many arguments about whether or not it was his fault we eventually went down or whether TB also had a role to play ... but that is for a different thread and it is all water under the bridge now. We came back up at the first attempt, we are in the SPL now, and he has moved on from ICT, the SPL/SFL and Scotland ..... Would not want him back at ICT, but wont wish him badly in his managerial career either.

Steve Evans left as Rotherham are a bigger club with bigger ambitions, moving to a new stadium in the Summer, so longer term better prospects. He said his family live in the north and will be closer to them, but I bet the main reason is Crawely board sold their two top scorers in January, against his will. Matt Tubbs was one of them now at Bournmouth I think. That will be the real reason, do you want the cash or promotion. Previously Steve Evans would have wanted the cash, but he got caught for that a few years back. How times change
