Temp here coming up to 27% this weekend. Not too shabby--hard on the Scarlet man's  balding pate though.  It's either that or the mosquitos are biting down hard and their vicious attack sites itch for 10 days. West Nile virus has already reached Washington State just South of here below the 49th parallell.  Won't be long before the stretchers are out in Fanny Couver--either the heat will get them or the West Nile Mossies ... :001: :029:

For anyone interested the hottest yearly average on record is 8.2 oC in Scotland. This was in 2003 when the hottest day on record was 9th August at an average across the country of 32.9 oC. Those records go back some 140 years so even SMEE's memory is a bit hazy.
