Thing is Scotty we don't know if it is the truth. It might well be. But until we have proof of Yinited maybe conducting ilegal moves behind ICTs back then comments like this will only land the club in trouble.

It might not stand up in a court of law, or an SPL disciplinary meeting, but I know who I believe ........

I do agree with you however that anyone associated with the club making accusatory statements without proof could land the club and themselves in trouble .... :icon_police:

Its one of the benefits of going back to being an unofficial site that all users on here - including the Admins - can now speculate freely and make our opinions known, secure in the knowledge that this unofficial site has no ties to the club other than temporarily supplying them with a little bit of webspace until their new site is ready ...... There are things I have wanted to comment over the years that I have been unable to :silent: but now I can really tell it like I see it ....  :brave:

You can say whatever the **** you like - within reason (we do have limits) - and the only person who can get in trouble is you. So if you want to say that 'in your opinion' Livi are cheating tinks, then yes please feel free to do so  :003: .... I think you might find that 'allegedly' is another good word to have in your vocabulary.

Our terms and conditions make it quite clear that it is the users and not the site who are responsible for comments. As a site, we are only obliged to respond in a timely fashion to review/delete comments that are complained about, obviously libellous or that break our own rules.

We didnt actually delete things all that often on the other site - people thought we deleted a **** of a lot more than we actually did. Where we might have gone overboard was in locking threads but that in my mind was preferable to deleting them.

Anyroads, that was the past and we are now in a new era - we WILL still delete/lock/hide things if they are over the top - in our opinion - but I think we have proved since launching that we DO have a wider line that you need to cross before it gets to that stage. I have moved, split or closed topics for various reasons (duplicates, wrong forum etc) but I dont think I have had to delete one yet !!!

Aw Scotty, I was making a point to Rig rather than insinuating anything about the old site  :003:

In fact the only thing I can ever remember being deleted of mine was an animated gif of a bloke getting repeatedly kicked in the nuts, used in retaliation after one of Johndo's porno pics, both were deleted which was the point of me posting it in the first place  :001:

[li]I enjoyed the first 7 years of the site where it was unofficial - good craic and tremendous banter[/li]
[li]I enjoyed the first 3 years where it was official - still good craic and banter[/li]
[li]I didnt really enjoy the final 2 years where we had to literally watch every post and users got just as pissed off with that as we did.[/li]
[li]Moving to this site has been like a re-birth - there is definitely more craic and I have only received ONE negative email since launch. I am enjoying it again !!! [/li]

Wasnt saying anything was being insinuated about the old site - although much of it may be valid - but I think I am guilty of taking us off topic so will probably split this topic and continue it elsewhere .... Both myself and CaleyD would be happy to get feedback on the site so that we can hopefully make sure it continues to grow and the craic and banter get back to a level where it was before
