Can anyone recommend anywhere nice to go for a meal?

We recently tried the River Cafe in Inverness -  rating - :003: :003: :003: :003: :003:

Absolutely superb!

Anywhere else good?  Heard the Mustard Seed had gone down hill a bit?  :007:

Redcliffe Hotel in Ardconnel St is very good - changed hands recently and is now run by the people who own the North Kessock Hotel... Very good value meals....and a friendly wee bar with John Smiths on draught.  :003: :003:

Mustard Seed is still ok.... I'm sometimes still hungry when I leave there though......

I think the place is called Number 1. It is on the corner of Greig Street opposite the bridge. You will be hard pushed to find a better meal in Inverness. The kitchen is in the centre of the restaurant and the chefs are great craic. Highly recommended :005:
