Butcher offered job !

According to Charles Bannerman's 8pm radio Scotland news broadcast. Butcher has been offered the job and will be intouch with the club today to say yes/no. The board require him to relocate to Inverness and contract terms etc have to be sorted.

Strange to announce this, wouldn't it be better to wait till accepted and tied up before announcement?

Half the other media sources on the planet announced it last night, so I guess it would be been odd to have said nothing, even if would seem more correct.
