O2 website glitch handing out free handsets

I got this info from another forum, apparently it has been circulating the web for a couple of weeks and people have reportedly got their "free" phones.

Not sure if this works, I did it and apparently mine will be delivered on Tuesday.

Doesn't look like a scam, just appears to be a problem with the O2 site.

Select one of the 3 top tarrifs.

Hit BACK

Select the same tariff but from the bottom 3

There should be a Free phone in your basket now.

Enter details and checkout. Should not need to enter card details.
