IMO Duff looked very shaky in his new position and he certainly didn't deal with Craig Conway very well but i don't blame Duff at all. Although Brewster would talk up Craig Conway to be amazing because he signed Conway while he was Dundee Utd manager.

I think Duff's confidence took a knock after his untypically poor performance for the Scottish under 21 team. Playing him out of his comfort zone will not improve matters and may set his progress back a great deal which is a shame as the lad is a genuine prospect when played in his proper position.

True, but these were not for Rooney coming on, but for the extraction of Imrie whilst Barrowload stayed on.

Brewster in the courier today blaming the "Big Players" for not performing on Saturday.

I don't know why I bother buying the paper any more, it's at the stage where I can guess exactly what's going to be said by Brewster every week. A couple of statements saying how we have to remain positive which then goes on to blame the players in the rest of the article.....cause that's a great way to keep players positive!!!

While I do think the press should be a bit more free in printing what is happening I do understand why they are reluctant do so, if they lose their stories they get from ICT there is not much else for them to report on

Yes I agree with that and I wasnt saying they were right just that I could understand why they might be wary to do it, perhaps the most powerful of the lot the BBC might come out and report on the displeasure of the fans

Well if a national newspaper, for example, say that a manager is walking on thin ice, then that club surely wouldn't bar them from attending the games. I think those at ICT who stop local journalists from going to games if they write about the club in a "bad" way, are being a bit childish. The press have a duty to provide both sides of the coin to the public for them to then construct their own opinions on, if they haven't already.

What big players do we have??? Brewster got rid of them all. If he is talking about the likes of just Cowie and Black then he is expecting to much from them too often. And if he is talking about Rooney then that is simply putting uneeded pressure on a young player who has barely played first team football. All the "Big players" we used to have were all axed by Brew at some stage throughout last season. He is such an egotistical fool.

They have printed 3 posts from the forum, from Caley D, dead ball specialist and MissICT all of which are expressing the fans desperation.

There is also a large article about the supporters club and how they are facing a potential crisis as they cant get enough people to come to away games. It also mentions us having the worst home record in the league. Ali Williamson the spokesman for the supporters club is quoted as saying "The fans are not happy, the home form speaks for itself and we are so frustrated. A lot of fans think Brewster's tactics are terrible and that he will eventually pay the price"

Brewster said he was happy with Duff's performance at right back, He is also quoted as saying " The people in the crowd can make their own decisions, I am the manager and i've got to make the decisions for what I see best, but at the end of the day its the players on the park who are key."
