Vladimir Romanov statement

05.01.2012

"As soon as Hearts moved closer to the third spot the monkeys start to squeal, lie and create conspiracy plots.

I thought I had expressed myself clearly - I am selling the club and I am not going to give any more money away. It is pointless to support show business, not football. Hearts is now living out of its own budget.

Everyone knew, including players, media and SPL that the wages are going to be paid as soon as the money was received for Eggert Jonsson, who was sold last year. But media still tried to create conspiracy plots about the team and managed to get a prompt and unwise decision from the SPL meeting, which the club asked it to postpone until next week in order to get opportunity to pay the wages.

As such I have not cheated anyone. The monkeys tricked the SPL, fans and themselves and showed who is in charge of the football mafia. They will continue to cheat as this is their job.

I am used to their lies. I remember when the fight started between two people at the end of one of our AGMs and all the cameras were there as they were expecting it. Later that episode was covered by all major stations as backdrop of the AGM, trying to portray the club as a mess.

I feel sorry for the poor monkeys. Mowgli is asking to work for the publicity of the Old Firm, that's why they have to lie and tell tall stories.

But there is no future for Scottish football while these media monkeys are in charge. Not just for football, but for the whole country. When people tried to protest in the streets, media turned it into chaos, demonstrating masked instigators and hired gangsters in front of the cameras.

I have nothing to prove. Seven years ago I proved that there was no football, but only show business. When Kaunas threw Rangers out of the competition you switched your TV off to avoid embarrassment. Fear takes away the wisdom.

I am going to reiterate once again - I am not going to gift the club money anymore. The only thing left for the club to do is to develop its own youth and attempt to enlighten people who have been deceived and held as part of a stupid crowd by Mowgli.

The progress is there - Mowgli is under prosecution and in exile. But until they open a zoo for the monkeys and keep them in cages, they will keep jumping on people who are straightforward and not afraid to speak."

As a reminder, Rangers Tax Tribunal resumes on 16 January 2012. They, like Hearts, may suffer administration in the near future if that goes against them. That said, I think Scottish football has been very interesting with Vlad. He has certainly invested a considerable sum of money into Hearts. We have seen some interesting and talented footballers at the Club and some pretty interesting Managers. Vlad has probably enjoyed his trips to Inverness especially his swim across Loch Ness. If nothing else, he is a very interesting survivor from an entirely different part of the world. He is not crazy but someone somewhere is if they think they can rescue Hearts.

I agree with and support every word he says....ok, maybe not every word, but there's no denying that Scottish Football is in a mess, those running the game are making it worse and that the media are a bunch of shysters.

The fact that everyone seems to bend over backwards to appease the OF, deliberately or not, is also something that cannot be denied. Whether it's them getting more than their share of "favourable" decisions on the pitch, avoiding punishment through unsporting means, failure on the part of the authorities to deal with the culture that drags so many to "the cause" or biased reporting by the media...it all creates and promotes an environment by which no team can hope to compete, even when they are willing to spend money trying to achieve it.

Vlad's perhaps not the best person to hold up as a shining example of football philanthropy, but he's not the only person to have pulled his financial support from a club on the basis that they refuse to bankroll it in a biased and un-level operating environment.

He makes it easy for people to mock him instead and ignore the points that are made among all the crazy crap...but he's perhaps not as "Mad" as his is sometimes labelled.

As much as I have laughed at Mad Vlad and yes called him 'mad' myself I do see where some of his points come from. The problem with Vlad is he uses ridiculous language / examples.

But he is correct with his assesment about the Glasgow based media and the dire state of Scottish football. However, if he is wanting to sell Hearts, he should maybe consider marketing the club in a more positive light. He is a business man after all.

But he doesn't care what people thinks , does he?

If you were born and grew up in the Soviet Bloc and learned very early on in your lfe that the best thing you can do is to keep your mouth shut ( hear all, see all and say nowt) then you would understand that when someone comes over to a free-er society he will change, especially if he has proved himself in a very difficult and very corrupt society, succeeded against all odds and made himself into a very independent business man by his own efforts or by being more corrup than the corrupt. This very testing more than a ring of truth to them. :salute:

Yep, it's true about the OF controlling Scotland to it's detriment - although I don't buy deliberate referee bias, but I won't go into that.

Thing is, is someone that won't pay his players (I'm sure he makes sure he's not struggling financially), protects a paedophile, continually interferes with the football management (to it's club's detriment) and tries to ruin players when they don't want to sign contracts is one of the monkeys.

As in any football league that has dominant forces (most throughout the world if we are honest) they are viewed with disdain by everyone else, Our game is not pleasant at the moment but the blame cannot be laid solely at the door of the OF as they have declined as rapidly as the rest. Gone are the days when even though you hated them there was definitely something exciting about have real top European players playing in our league. We don't have a single one now.

In Vlad's case, he is mad. There can surely be no debate about that? Only a mad man would invest the kind of money he has in Hearts. Only a mad man would have sacked George Burley when he did. Only a mad man would protect a convicted sex offender and lay blame for the 'witch hunt' on the media. And, if anyone needs any further proof, only a seriously deluded individual (mad man is an understatement) could place a £50 million valuation on a club like Hearts?
